Find F and J
Find the raised markers on F and J. Return to them after each small group.
Add D and K
Use the middle fingers for D and K while the index fingers rest on F and J.
A comfortable home row
Keep a gentle rhythm. Type the spaces as carefully as the letters.
Reach G and H
Let each index finger reach inward, then return to its home key.
Short home-row phrases
Read each phrase before typing. Accuracy is the useful goal here.
The upper row
Move one finger at a time. A short pause is better than guessing.
The lower row
Reach down gently and return to the home row after each word.
Useful small words
Read the whole word, then type it once with a comfortable rhythm.
Keep the spaces
A missing space can shift later text. Watch the gap between words.
A sentence at a time
Let your eyes move slightly ahead without rushing your fingers.
Begin with a capital
Use Shift for the capital, then release it before the next letter.
Names and places
Keep each capital exactly as shown. These names are fictional practice.
Days and titles
Read the capital as part of the word rather than a separate task.
Commas and full stops
Punctuation belongs to the target. Take a breath at each short phrase.
Questions and answers
Notice the question mark, exclamation mark, and spaces around each sentence.
Quotes and brackets
Look at both ends of a pair. Preserve the exact quote characters shown.
The number row
Read each group in full. Keep the zeros at the start of identifiers.
Amounts and decimals
Read the whole amount and then its decimal part before moving on.
A useful request
Read the message once before typing. Preserve names and punctuation.
